Project cf spouse is a nonprofit organization that is dedicated to providing resources and support to cf spouses and partners in the cf community. When i first started dating my husband, who has cf, it felt like diving straight into the deep end of the cf world I was completely overwhelmed at first, but everything changed when i discovered a supportive community of other cf spouses. We are the wives/girlfriends of cystic fibrosis We go through a lot everyday and sometimes you need that person to lean on that will know what you are. Their lives often revolve around managing the complexities of the condition while nurturing their relationships The role of a cf wife can include being a caregiver, advocate, and emotional support system for their partners. I am new to the caf military family and thought this may help others really connect with other spouses going through the same thing Please feel free to post your resources below, i have searched up my local mfrs (military family resource center) and there are courses you can take for getting ready for pre/during/post deployment, coffee meet up groups and some crafting groups Thankfully, the cf foundation announced their impact grants at just the right time I had been working on several things and this opportunity would allow me to bring those to life Project cf spouse has been my passion project from the moment the idea popped in my head I love the work that we do…but more than that, i love the people.
