Using a torque wrench and a 7/8 socked i torqued all the lugs to spec and am exhausted with aching hands Just a heads up to check the lug torques for all out there. The 2018 has a smaller lug nut (it takes a 19mm socket) I thought maybe gm put on the wrong size lug nuts at the factory but i have two 2018 equinox's and they both have the same size lug nut I also had a 2013 impala and it had the smaller, 19mm socket lug nuts, however, the torque spec was 100 ft lbs. My gm 2011 terrain service manual states 140 ft.lb But the dealer is positive it is 125 ft.lb The dealer's service manager looked it up on his computer, and sure enough, it said 125 ft The manual also specifies a torque for the oil filter cap but the dealer states hand. Hey guys, does anyone have the torque specs needed for the front hub/bearing replacement ie Hub to knuckle bolts, caliper bracket to knuckle bolts and drive axel to hub bearing nut ( i think the last is 151 ft/lbs) I'm about to change the right front hub bearing on my 2013 awd 2.4l terrain. Put your new torque wrench on it (start at about 100 ft lbs) and try tightening the lug nut If the wrench clicks before the nut moves even a little, reset the wrench to 110 ft lbs and try again.
